Summary

This course not only covers key areas of business - you will also study business behaviour from a range of perspectives including the ethical dilemmas and responsibilities faced by organisations and individuals, and be encouraged to challenge assumptions, decision making and critical analysis

You will be expected to use enquiring, critical, problem solving and thoughtful approach to the study of business.

Entry Requirements

Applicants require a grade 5 in GCSE English Language and Maths. If GCSE Business has been studied, a grade 5 must have been achieved.
Applicants should also meet the overall Sixth Form entry requirements

Assessment

You will be assessed through three exams at the end of the two year course.

Career Progression

Business Studies is a broad subject and can lead to careers in banking, retailing, insurance, teaching and setting up your own business.

Fees

If you are a UK or home fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free. If you are aged 19 and over please contact the Advice Shop.
