Summary
This level 1 course gets learners to gain a good base knowledge of business. You will explore areas in branding and admin as well as look at the practice side of marketing. This course allows learners to develop their own skills and reflect upon their own abilities. The course has subjects in career development to assist learners with their future development. This will help learners to understand their own specialisms and what they enjoy about business.

Entry Requirements
Achieve 3 GCSE's at grade 2 or above, including English Language and Maths.
Assessment
The level 1 Diploma is assessed by a series of assignments which will come in form of essays, presentations and projects. You'll be marked on a pass, merit and distinction basis.
Progression
Successfully completing the Level 1 Diploma at Merit and improved GCSE English Language and Maths grades may provide direct entry onto the T Level Transitions Business. Students can also apply for alternative Level 2 courses within the department that may better suit their career aims such as Media and IT. Alternatively, students can go out and seek a Level 2 apprenticeship.
Fees
If you are a UK or home fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free. If you are aged 19 and over fees may be payable.
