They will develop occupationally specific skills that will allow them to enter skilled employment within a specific occupation.

Objective

The T-Level Production Arts is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and understanding necessary to access and progress to drama school, degree-level study or employment in the performing arts. At the end of the Technical Qualification, students are expected to demonstrate threshold competence, meaning that they have gained the core knowledge and skills related to Media, Broadcast and Production and are well placed to develop full occupational competence with additional development and support once in employment in the Media, Broadcast and Production sector

Assessment

All assessments are externally set and marked by the awarding body Pearson.
The Core Component is assessed through written examination; the Employer Set Project (ESP) both are graded A*-E.
The Occupational Specialism (OS) components are graded Pass, Merit, Distinction or Unclassified.

The overall grading is on a scale of Pass, Merit, Distinction, Distinction* or Unclassified. The overall grade is awarded by the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education (IfATE).

Progression

Students could progress to relevant Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes or degree programmes. Students must check the entry requirements for each degree programme with the relevant higher education provider as some Universities currently do not accept T-Levels.
