What You Will Study
The Award in Digital & IT Skills is a part-time course that runs for 18 weeks. It is designed for students who want to develop and extend their digital skills to prepare for employment in a number of industries.
It is a daytime course, which is three hours long with additional online homework set each week.
Entry Requirements
A reasonable knowledge of IT skills is expected. Ideally, you will have completed the Level 1 Digital & IT Functional Skills course, otherwise you will be required to take an initial assessment to assess your prior knowledge in digital skills.
How You Will Be Assessed
Assessment is through a portfolio of evidence.
Course Progression
Upon successful completion of this course, you could progress onto higher Digital & IT qualifications e.g. the Level 2 Certificate in Digital & IT Skills.
