Our GCSE and Functional Skills courses are designed to help you progress.

Whether you are looking to retake GCSE subjects or gain qualifications to develop your career, our courses can get you to where you want to be. We run both GCSE courses for under 18s and adult GCSE courses alongside our GCSE resit programme.

GCSE Maths courses

Maths is a central part of your progression to other courses and employment. It isn’t just about knowing how to carry out certain calculations. It is about you recognising problems, pursuing solutions and communicating explanations.

GCSE English courses

GCSE English is essential for your future plans, whether further study is in a vocational or academic area, university, or employment. Being able to communicate effectively and having good writing skills are highly-valued skills in both education and employment.

Functional Skills Maths and Functional Skills English

Maths and English are essential qualifications that give you a range of skills for life.

If you aren’t ready for GCSEs, our Functional Skills courses are a great starting point. They can fill gaps in your subject knowledge and develop your skills. Functional Skills qualifications are available at a range of different levels and are recognised by colleges and employers. Some universities accept Functional Skills instead of GCSEs.
