Want to become an accountant or work in a finance role? The AAT Accounting Qualification is your route to an exciting professional career. Whether you want to start earning straight away, go on to chartered studies, or set up your own practice, the career options are endless. The AAT Diploma delivers a high level of practical skills, knowledge and effective performance in the workplace and gives progression to AAT full membership and the UK chartered accountancy qualifications. The AAT's Diploma pathway is competence-based and does not have the workplace evidence requirement of NVQ programmes. It is streamlined and flexible and includes a new Professional Ethics for Accounting Technicians unit; a market-leading innovation much valued by employers.

Topics covered include:
Drafting financial statements;
Management accounting;
Managing systems and people in the accounting environment;
Professional ethics for accounting technicians.

Plus two of the following three units:
Implementing auditing procedures
Preparing business taxation computations
Preparing personal taxation computations

We will be offering this one year programme on Thursday's, 9am - 3.30pm

Entry Requirements

Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Working in the area of accountancy is desirable but not essential.

Assessment

Your work will be assessed through a mix of exams and practical skills tests.

No formal academic progression.
