Summary

Our Skills Bootcamp is designed to upskill motor vehicle technicians and mechanics to be able to service or work on an electric vehicles and to support garages to meet the needs of their customer base.
With the government's aim of 80% of new cars being electric by 2030, the demand on independent garages to re-train staff in this new technology is costly and timely. This course will enable employers to upskill their staff at a fraction of the course costs, but will need to commit time to their employees to attend all sessions.

This course will combine in person sessions on Tuesday evenings 6pm-9pm and some online learning - it will run for 10 weeks (excluding the 18th of February).

It will include the following qualifications;
IMI Level 2 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Routine Maintenance
IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement
IMI Level 4 Award in the Diagnosis, Testing and Repair of Electric/Hybrid Vehicles and Components - we will deliver some key elements including further legislation, advanced diagnostics and oscilloscope.
