Our Leadership and Management degree, validated by the UEA, has been developed in association with the Charted Management Institute (CMI). Students completing the full apprenticeship will be awarded a full BA (Hons) degree, Chartered Manager status with the CMI and a CMI level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management.
The degree is suited to those looking to begin or develop a career in a variety of management functions in the business or public sector. The degree allows students to combine work and study to gain a full bachelor’s degree. Eligible students, employed and supported by an organisation, may apply for the Leadership and Management Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.
Degree Apprenticeship requires an employer to agree to both fund and support the Apprentice throughout the duration of the programme. The Degree Apprenticeship route requires the student to complete an End Point Assessment, leading to Membership of the Chartered Management Institute.
The BA (Hons) Leadership and Management Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship enables employers to address their skills gaps and develop their workforce of the future where the training costs, including the degree, are co-funded by the government or can be fully funded by your apprenticeship levy. The degree modules are designed based on direct feedback from employers and comprehensive national research of management skills required to futureproof organisations.
This programme will equip you with the skills and strategies to deal with contemporary challenges in management practice. The programme has been developed in consultation with local and global partners and professional bodies, and has been mapped to Chartered Management Institute (CMI) standards. This allows successful students to apply for ‘Chartered Manager’ status with the CMI, after passing the apprenticeship End Point Assessment, alongside gaining an honours degree.
