Where can this lead?
You can progress to roles such as Laboratory Technician, Technologist, Development Technician, Manufacturing Technician, or Science Technician working in Health, Science or Manufacturing sectors.

This programme is subject to revalidation with our University partner, UEA, ready to accept new entrants from September 2025. Therefore, for next year there may be some changes to this advertised course content following the revalidation process.
The Foundation Year will be based around a UK CAA Category A licence.
The Foundation Degree itself allows students to complete a UK CAA Category B1.1 licence, in addition to the Foundation degree.

Where can this take me
Students successfully completing the Foundation degree can progress into a number of roles within the aviation sector, in particular aircraft maintenance engineering.
Students can also progress onto further study via the BSc (Hons) Top-up.
