Assistant Technician

Salary on appointment will be £26,592 per annum, with an annual increment up to £28,763 per annum.
We are looking for Assistant Technicians to undertake a range of Maintenance and Facilities related tasks for the University, helping us to function effectively. This includes undertaking minor building repairs and handling equipment faults, checking fire doors, testing emergency lighting, maintaining air handling units, and more.
You’ll need experience of undertaking basic maintenance duties, plus good general secondary education and good communication skills. You’ll be willing to undertake relevant training as required and be able to participate in a roster covering 6 Saturdays per year. In addition, overtime may be required.

These full-time posts are available immediately on an indefinite basis.
