Career-focused vocational courses

If you have a passion for a certain subject and prefer hands-on learning, then our vocational courses and BTECs may be for you.

You can choose from a huge range of courses and you will learn in industry-standard facilities from teachers with lots of experience in the industry.

Courses are available from Entry Level through to Level 3 (equivalent to A Levels) and will provide you with the skills and experiences of work needed for your future career.

A Levels

You can choose from over 20 A Levels to study in a wide range of subjects including Art and Design, Computer Science, Maths, Psychology and the sciences.

Our Sixth Form Centre provides a mature learning environment that is very different to being at school and offers excellent progression to university, employment and apprenticeships.

T Levels

T Levels are two-year courses that follow on from GCSEs. They are an alternative study option to A Levels, apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses. They provide progression routes into skilled and technical employment, or onto higher/degree apprenticeships and university.

T Levels are equivalent in size to three A levels and are developed and designed with employers to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to get into a technical career. They combine classroom study with on-the-job training as part of a substantial industry placement. Industry placements with an employer will last at least 315 hours.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships provide fantastic career opportunities and allow you to get a qualification and earn money at the same time.

Apprenticeships are available in hundreds of industries and are ideal if you want to continue learning while working. An apprenticeship can help you kick-start your career with 94% of our apprentices staying in work after finishing an Apprenticeship.
