Sports science students achieve accredited UK Anti-Doping Advisor status

Five level 3 sport and exercise science students are now able to educate athletes on the values of clean sport after completing a qualification to become accredited UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) Advisors alongside their course.

Students reveal life behind the curtain at first Technical Theatre Expo

Over 20 level 3 production arts students from City College Norwich unveiled a series of interactive exhibits that gave guests a taste of what life is like behind the curtain of live theatre, performance and events at their first Technical Arts Expo (TXPO) on Tuesday 18th April.

Carpentry students reach final of business competition

Five carpentry and joinery students will represent City College Norwich in the final of the Market Maker competition with their idea for a new brand of life skills training aimed at young people.

The students – Tom Eyre, George Richardson, Joa De Almeida, Jordan Fleet and Aaron Godfrey – were selected for the final after impressing in the City College Norwich heat in March. 

Students to showcase life backstage at first Technical Theatre Expo

Over 20 production arts students from City College Norwich will be showcasing the backstage world of live theatre, performance and events at their first Technical Arts Expo (TXPO) which will take place on Tuesday 18th April from 5pm – 8pm in Stage Two at Norwich Theatre Royal.

Students share knowledge with peers as they run health campaigns in college

Level 3 Health & Social Care and Health Studies students helped to raise awareness of a wide range of health issues through a series of campaigns targeted at their fellow students.  

These campaigns, which took place during the last week of March, encompassed a wide variety of topics, from mental health to cancer.
